Photos Of Police Officers Patrolling Lagos State After Days Of Unrest

Males of the Nigeria Police Power have been patrolling Lagos state following days of unrest within the state.

The officers on Friday and Saturday patrolled Lagos State in a bid to revive order, The PUNCH reviews.

Earlier, barricades and police checkpoints have been seen on the streets of Lagos after Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu imposed a curfew on the state after days of violent unrest.

The governor visited burnt police stations and razed amenities throughout the state on Friday, lamenting that it could take many a long time for the state to get well from the destructions brought on by the unrest.

Sanwo-Olu on Friday afternoon eased the curfew, saying that “folks can exit between eight:00 am and 6:00 pm.”

Lagos State Police Command on its social media handles mentioned, “Our officers are patrolling components of the metropolis for confidence-building.”
