Police Arrest Women Over Alleged Killing Of Husband In Jigawa
A 25-year-old woman identified as Hadiza Musa has been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband in Jigawa.
Police spokesman ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the arrest to DAILY POST.
He said the incident happened on Tuesday evening at Maradawa village in Kazaure Local Government Area when the suspect used a wooden mortar to attacked her husband Isah Mohd over a small misunderstanding.
Adam said the victim sustained injuries on his head which subsequently resulted in his death.
He said the victim was taken to Kazaure General Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The case is under investigation and will be charged to court, he assured.
