King Wasiu Ayinde, the ace Fuji musician, has been accused of assaulting a preferred broadcaster, Wole Sorunke, fondly addressed as MC Murphy in Ogun State.

In line with DAILY POST, it was realized that the duo of Ayinde and MC Murphy met on Thursday on the 60th birthday celebration of the Olu of Itori, Oba Abdulfatai Akamo.

They have been each invited individually to carry out on the occasion as musicians and presenters respectively.

However, MC Murphy accused the Fuji maestro of beating him blue and black on the event.

Talking on Friday, the compere informed newsmen that he was attacked after he had taken somebody to the stage to be eulogised by Ayinde.

Sorunke stated Ayinde, popularly referred to as KWAM 1, shockingly ignored him and his shopper as they left the stage.

In line with him, the singer allegedly pounced on him with the aids of a few of his boys, who have been recognized as KC and Gaji, the place he was sitting.

MC Murphy, whereas exhibiting journalists his swollen cheeks and lips, maintained that Ayinde had later apologised to him; saying, nevertheless, that he didn’t need the incident to be swept underneath the carpet.

Reacting to the incident, broadcasters underneath the auspices of Freelance and Impartial Broadcasters Affiliation of Nigeria, on Friday, lambasted Ayinde over the alleged assault on considered one of them.

FIBAN President, Desmond Nwachukwu, expressed disappointment within the Fuji star, saying the act was unbecoming of somebody holding the title of ‘Mayegun of Yorubaland’.

The FIBAN President appealed to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, to strip Ayinde of the title he bestowed on him.

In the meantime, Ayinde’s media supervisor, Kunle Rasheed, has denied the allegations.

Rasheed stated his boss had no involvement in any violence that occurred on the occasion.

In a terse response, Rasheed, stated nothing of such occurred on the social gathering.

He added that something that occurred to the compere on the social gathering had nothing to do with Ayinde.
