Shehu Sani, former Kaduna lawmaker says the fresh abduction of female students of the Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State, has pulled Nigeria back to its ugly reality.
DAILY POST earlier reported that armed men suspected to be bandits abducted some female students on Thursday.
Although details of the incident are still sketchy, Daily Trust reports that a security operative was shot dead during the attack.
Reacting, Sani on his Twitter page said the abduction of students has reminded Nigerians of kidnapping incidences yet to be solved by the government.
His tweet read: “The fresh report of the mass abductions of students of the Federal Government College Yauri, Kebbi State, pulled the nation back to its ugly reality it wants to ignore or pretend that it’s solved.”
