The police have warned members of the general public that there might be explosives buried in Geidam, Damaturu, Tarmuwa, Dapchi, Kanamma, Gulani and Buni Yadi cities in Yobe State.

An announcement from the state police command spokesperson, ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, mentioned the command has found and subtle some explosives in Damaturu and Buni Yadi native governments in current instances and warns that another locations within the state may also have explosives buried underground. He appealed to farmers to be vigilant and report any unusual object they see to the police.

The assertion partly reads;

“The Yobe State Police Command in current instances found and subtle some improvised explosive gadgets in Damaturu and Buni Yadi Native Authorities Areas of the state.
