Suspected Motorcycle Thieves Apprehended In Ibadan (Photos)


The Suspects

The Oyo state command of the Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have arrested and paraded some suspected motorbike thieves.

Talking to newsmen on Monday July 13, the state’s NSCDC Commandant Mr. Iskilu Akinsanya recalled how one Mr. Adeyi Olalekan, 25 years (M) who stay at Awososo Space, Bembo Apata was stopped by one of many suspects at 0630hours on Sunday, 12th July, 2020 to take him to transformer in Iyana Cele, Apata NNPC Space from Awososo.

Olalekan was nevertheless attacked with regionally made gun and knife by the suspects who snatched his motorbike.

Akinsanya stated;

“One of many suspects fell from the bike, he was pursued and was caught at Johnson Awe Ara Apata by males of NSCDC at that Space”.

The opposite suspects had been later apprehended by Intelligence and Investigation Division of NSCDC.

The NSCDC commandant added;

“The suspects had been Mustapha Suleiman, 35 years, Sanni Ataka, 37 years, Sarafadeen Amodu, 29 years, Muktaka Gambo, 17 years, Abubakar Ibraheem, 27 years, Haruna Adamu 28 years, Ado Adamu, 29 years and Lamidi Saidu, 28 years.

“The suspects had been arrested with 1 native Gun, 6 Handsets, 1 NIMC ID Card, three pink Boxer Bikes with the next Registration Numbers: OSUN BDS 725 QR, OYO MNY 929 QM, OGUN JGB 136 WF”.
