'The Leaders In This Country Have Failed, Me Inclusive'

Governor Samuel Ortom

Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State Governor has attacked the Nigerian authorities, saying politicians and the political establishments have failed Nigerians.

Ortom, was talking on Wednesday August 12, in the course of the Worldwide Youth celebration held at new banquet corridor, Makurdi.

In line with Ortom, leaders together with himself, have failed to steer the nation correctly, including that the combat towards corruption by the federal authorities was selective.

“Let me say right here that the leaders on this nation have failed, me inclusive. It Is a giant disgrace to us leaders, we should apologize from God. And I implore you that you simply shouldn’t take after us. Greed is a giant problem. The trail we’re toying is the mistaken one for us. There’s a problem.

“The rule of legislation is selective, there are sacred cows that can’t be touched, even when they do unhealthy issues, they can’t be touched.

“Folks steal billions and they’re allowed to go scot-free whereas those that steal chickens are jailed,” the governor added.
