Lethal members of Boko Haram terrorist group have invaded a village in Ngwom space of Borno state and slaughtered 14 farmers on Monday.


In accordance with a report by AFP, the insurgents on Monday seized 15 farmers engaged on their irrigation fields in Ngwom village, 14 kilometers (9 miles) north of the area’s major metropolis Maiduguri, and lower their throats.


“They slaughtered the farmers, killing 14 whereas one survived with a deep slash. They left him for useless,” Babakura Kilo, a frontrunner of the anti-jihadist group, stated.


The insurgents captured the farmers as they tended to their crops in the course of the early afternoon, giving them no room to flee, stated one other member Ibrahim Liman who gave the identical loss of life toll.


The survivor was taken to a hospital in a “life-threatening situation,” Liman stated.


Boko Haram and rival group Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have more and more focused loggers, herders and fishermen of their violent marketing campaign, accusing them of spying and passing data to the army and the native militia combating them.


No less than 36,000 individuals have been killed within the jihadist battle which displaced round two million from their properties since 2009.
