UAE Will Begin Issuance Of Visas To Nigerians On Thursday

PM Information reprots that the United Arab Emirates, UAE, will start issuance of Visas to Nigerians from Thursday, October eight, 2020.

This was disclosed by Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika on Tuesday.

He stated UAE had confirmed that it might begin issuing visas to Nigerians from Thursday and that travellers would have a return ticket.

“UAE confirmed that they’ll start issuance of Visas from eighth of October, 2020. Vacationers to have a return ticket, resort reserving, adverse PCR end result & a Medical insurance (much like Schengen requirement).

“Medical insurance will be paid by journey brokers/airline,” he tweeted.

The Federal Authorities had six days in the past lifted suspension positioned on Emirates Airline from flying into Nigeria.

Sirika had stated the UAE had written Nigeria to state that they agreed to situation visas to Nigerians, saying that based mostly on this, determination had been reached to permit Emirates to fly into Nigeria.

“UAE has written to state that they comply with situation visas to Nigerians, consequently determination has been reached to permit Emirates to fly into Nigeria.

“Graduation of the Visa issuance is situation precedent. Please bear with this uncommon scenario. Many thanks,”
he had stated.
