You Can’t Appoint An Unrepentant APC Member As INEC Commissioner - Falana Blasts Buhari

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, has faulted President Muhammadu Buhari for nominating an “unrepentant” member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as a Nationwide Commissioner of the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC).

Falana was reacting to Buhari’s nomination of his private assistant and agency supporter of the APC, Lauretta Onochie, because the INEC Nationwide Commissioner for Delta State.

“Paragraph 14 of Half 1 of the Third Schedule to the Structure as amended by Part 30, Act No 1 of 2010, a member of the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee “shall be non-partisan””.
